N2  - The European Community tiene doce Estados miembros (Bélgica, Alemania, Dinamarca, Grecia, España, Francia, Irlanda, Italia, Luxemburgo, los Países Bajos, Portugal y el Reino Unido), y aproximadamente 340 millones de personas. Primer objetivo de la Comunidad es la construcción de un marco económico coherente e integrada. El Acta Única Europea, que en 1987 modifiel el tratado fundacional de Roma de 1957, establece el objetivo vinculante de completar el mercado interior para finales de 1992 como un medio para avanzar hacia la unidad europea, entre los ámbitos políticos en los que te Comunidad desempeña un papel importante, por lo tanto, son los directamente relacionados con la creación del mercado único y los que lo apoyan
